Softball Recap: Mustang Now 16-2 over Last 18 Games

Mustang put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Jenks Trojans an 11-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Broncos, who have now won 11 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Mustang has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 18 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Jenks, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-18-1.

Jenks wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Deer Creek on the 8th. Hopefully Mustang paid attention to the Trojans' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Trojans on Wednesday.
