Volleyball Recap: Nauset Regional Takes a Loss

Nauset Regional suffered their biggest defeat since October 16, 2024 on Wednesday. They came up short against the Dennis-Yarmouth Regional Dolphins, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-22, 25-16, 25-22.

Violet Yingling paced Nauset Regional's offense, picking up nine kills. Yingling got some help from Molly Archer and her 15 assists. Archer also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Stella Smith, racking up three apiece.

Nauset Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Dennis-Yarmouth Regional, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-4.

The future could be bright for both Nauset Regional and Dennis-Yarmouth Regional: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. The Warriors will look to extend Falmouth's three-game losing streak when they meet at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Dennis-Yarmouth Regional will try to hand Danvers their sixth-straight loss when the two meet at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
