Recap: Methacton Warriors vs. Owen J. Roberts Wildcats
The Methacton Warriors's 11-game losing streak dating back to last season came to an end on Wednesday. They enjoyed a cozy 50-36 win over Owen J. Roberts. That looming 50-36 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Methacton yet this season.
Abby Arnold continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 32 points and ten rebounds. That makes it six consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Methacton's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Organtini, who scored nine points.
Methacton's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 1-9. As for Owen J. Roberts, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-4.
Methacton will head out on the road to face off against Spring-Ford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Spring-Ford presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Methacton in Pennsylvania (Spring-Ford is ranked 15th, while Methacton is ranked 479th). As for Owen J. Roberts, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Perkiomen Valley at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
