Linganore has gone 9-1 against Urbana recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Lancers will square off against the Hawks at 6:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Linganore comes in on eight and Urbana on three.

Linganore is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Governor Thomas Johnson 62-6. The Lancers pushed the score to 56-6 by the end of the third, a deficit the Patriots had no chance of recovering from.

Linganore didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Michael Marcellino and Andrew Thomas.

Meanwhile, Urbana really took it to Tuscarora for the full four quarters, racking up a 41-7 win. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-0.

Linganore better focus on containing Chase Kramer and Joshua White as the pair were huge in Urbana's win. Kramer rushed for 71 yards and one touchdown on only nine carries, while White rushed for 27 yards and one TD. Brody Cummings got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Linganore's record is now 8-0. As for Urbana, their record now sits at 5-3.

Everything came up roses for Linganore against Urbana when the teams last played back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 49-14 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lancers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
