Escondido Charter's game on Wednesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Mission Bay Buccaneers by a score of 1-0. The Tigers have struggled against the Buccaneers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Escondido Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4-1. As for Mission Bay, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Escondido Charter wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 1-0 loss against Classical Academy on the 20th. As for Mission Bay, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Montgomery at 6:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
