After a string of five wins, Dade County's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell just short of the Murray County Indians by a score of 3-2. The Wolverines were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Indians earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Dade County's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Murray County, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Coming up, Dade County will challenge Gordon Central at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Murray County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sonoraville at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
