Baseball Recap: Eastern Takes a Loss

Eastern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They came up short against the Eaton Rapids Greyhounds, falling 27-1. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Greyhounds this season, with their most recent loss being a 19-6 defeat two weeks ago.

Eastern's loss dropped their record down to 4-29. As for Eaton Rapids, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-11 record this season.

Eastern is taking a road trip to square off against Everett at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Eaton Rapids does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
