Softball Game Preview: Strasburg Indians vs. Platte Valley Broncos + How To Watch

Strasburg has gone a perfect 10-0 against Platte Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Indians will head out to face off against the Broncos at 4:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Strasburg fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Lyons on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Lions by a score of 9-7. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Addi Kent made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-5 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. She has been hot, having posted three or more hits the last five times she's played. Rachel Rupple was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, Platte Valley fell victim to Eaton and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Reds, falling 17-0.

Strasburg's defeat dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Platte Valley, they now have a losing record of 10-11.

Strasburg took their win against Platte Valley when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 17-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
