Soccer Game Preview: Trinity Christian vs. Langston Hughes

The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Trinity Christian has four straight victories, Langston Hughes has six straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Trinity Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Everything went their way against Monroe Area on Friday as Trinity Christian made off with a 6-1 win. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded Trinity Christian with their most commanding win of the season.

They hit Monroe Area with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Colin DePriest (2), Collin Mudge (2), Sebastian Yapor, and Jackson Upshaw.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Langston Hughes' offense. They lost 5-0 to Sandy Creek on Thursday.

Trinity Christian's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-4. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those three games. As for Langston Hughes, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.
