Soccer Game Preview: West Adams vs. Jefferson

West Adams is 0-10 against Jefferson since January of 2020 but things could change on Monday. The Panthers will face off against the Democrats at 4:00 p.m. West Adams has given up an average of 4.1 goals per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

West Adams came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Santee, falling 10-0.

Meanwhile, Jefferson came tearing into Friday's match with 12 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.3 goals), and they left with even more momentum. Their defense stepped up to hand the Romans an 8-0 shutout. Considering Jefferson have won nine matchups by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

West Adams' loss dropped their record down to 3-11-1. As for Jefferson, their win bumped their record up to 14-1.

West Adams suffered a grim 13-1 defeat to Jefferson in their previous meeting on January 14th. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
