Softball Recap: Trinity Christian Has No Trouble Against Sandy Creek

After only one run in their last matchup, Trinity Christian made sure to put some runs up on the board against Sandy Creek on Monday. The Lions were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Patriots. The Lions' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Shiloh Stewart was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with two triples, three runs, and three RBI. Those two triples gave her a new career-high. Anna Aycock also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Trinity Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sandy Creek only posted an OBP of .429.

The win got Trinity Christian back to even at 2-2. As for Sandy Creek, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.
