Basketball Recap: Calexico Mission Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Calexico Mission can now relate to. They were beaten by the Warner Wildcats 60-3 on Thursday. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the RoadRunners, who until this contest were averaging 16.56 points allowed.

Carla Mariscal was Calexico Mission's leading scorer, having posted three points. Doremi Inda held things down on the boards with five rebounds.

Calexico Mission's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Warner, the victory (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 20-2.

As of now, neither Calexico Mission nor Warner have any future games scheduled.
