Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Lowell walked away with it. They came out on top against the Notre Dame Tigers by a score of 47-37 on Tuesday. The win was familiar territory for the Cardinals, who have now won nine contests in a row.

Despite the loss, Notre Dame had strong showings from Sammy Kakala, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 14 rebounds, and Mika Cary, who posted 11 points. Kakala is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as she's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games she's played.

Lowell's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points over those games. As for Notre Dame, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-10 record this season.

Lowell didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 65-54 win against Liberty Ranch on the 6th. Notre Dame does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
