Soccer Recap: Roswell Triumphs

Roswell proved they can win big last Friday (they won by four) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They beat the Gainesville Red Elephants by a goal, winning 2-1. The Hornets wouldn't have won without Alex Barerra, who scored the game-winner.

Roswell is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those five contests. Gainesville's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-1.

Roswell has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Johns Creek on the 7th. As for Gainesville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 6-1 win against Seckinger on the 11th.
