Softball Recap: Eaton Comes Up Short on the Road Against Wellington

Eaton had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Wellington Eagles by a score of 9-8. The Reds were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Bria Foster was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Isabella Ramsey was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

Looking ahead, Eaton will square off against Peak to Peak at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Wellington, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge Lyons at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
