Heritage won the last time they faced Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe and things went their way on Friday too. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Generals who were credited with the win. The Heritage Generals got it done in the shootout by posting six goals to the Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe Warriors' five. Winning may never get old, but Heritage sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Eli Newsome, who's now up to two this season.

Heritage's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-6. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those six matchups. As for Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7.

Heritage and Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Generals see the pitch they'll take on Ringgold at 7:30 p.m. on the 8th.
