Football Recap: St. Luke's Episcopal Takes a Loss

St. Luke's Episcopal lost against Washington County back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wildcats took a blow against the Bulldogs, falling 34-7. The Wildcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 27-0.

Conner Williams had an outrageously good game for Washington County as he threw for 266 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. Hayden Wilkins helped Williams out on the ground, picking up 97 receiving yards and one TD.

St. Luke's Episcopal now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Washington County, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

St. Luke's Episcopal wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 54-0 win against Central on the 12th. As for Washington County, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 35-21 victory against Chickasaw on the 12th.
