Soccer Game Preview: Norcross vs. Central Gwinnett

The Norcross Blue Devils will venture away from home to take on the Central Gwinnett Black Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Norcross is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.

Norcross made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Berkmar, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Norcross blew past Berkmar 4-0 on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what Norcross needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

They hit Berkmar with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Walker Patino, Gary Perez, Santiago Cardona Marin, and Xavi Jaimes.

Meanwhile, Central Gwinnett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to Dacula. While losing is never fun, Central Gwinnett can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 312th, while Dacula are ranked 27th).

Central Gwinnett's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Norcross, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That somehow still isn't as good as their 11-1-1 record this season.
