Baseball Recap: Jimtown Jimmies vs. Concord Minutemen
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Niles, Jimtown was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Concord Minutemen 11-1. The Jimmies have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Minutemen, too.
Dalton Cook made a splash no matter where he played. He tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Jimtown is 4-2 when he allows at most two walks, but 7-9 otherwise. Cook was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played.
