Softball Recap: Calhoun Comes Up Short at Home Against Sonoraville

Calhoun unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Sonoraville Phoenix by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. The Yellow Jackets haven't had much luck with the Phoenix recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Calhoun has already played their next game, an 8-4 win against North Murray on the 8th. As for Sonoraville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against LaFayette on the 7th.
