Football Game Preview: Midtown Knights vs. Pace Academy Knights + How To Watch

Midtown will square off against Pace Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

On Thursday, Midtown took a blow against M.L. King, falling 40-6. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 363rd, while the Lions are ranked 144th).

Even if they lost, Midtown's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Leading the way was Mylik Benoit with two. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one sack the last three times he's played.

Meanwhile, Pace Academy fell victim to Creekside and their airtight defense on Friday. They were outmatched by the Seminoles and fell 55-0. Having soared to a lofty 38 points in the game before, the Knights' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

This is the second loss in a row for Midtown and nudges their season record down to 2-5. As for Pace Academy, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 2-5.
