Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Fort Bend Christian Academy couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Cypress Christian Warriors by a score of 3-2 on Friday. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

LILAH JOHNSON was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 17 assists and four digs. That's the most assists she has posted since back in October. CONLEY MARTIN also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Fort Bend Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 28-12. As for Cypress Christian, their win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-13-1.

Fort Bend Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cypress Christian, they will challenge Lutheran South Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
