Soccer Recap: Terra Linda Comes Up Short

If Terra Linda was riding high fresh off their 4-0 takedown of San Rafael last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Terra Linda Trojans took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Marin Catholic Wildcats on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 336th, while the Wildcats are ranked 134th).

Terra Linda's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Marin Catholic, they pushed their record up to 12-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Terra Linda does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Marin Catholic, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Tamalpais on the 13th.
