With a playoff win on the line, Council Rock South rose to the challenge on Friday. They strolled past the Plymouth Whitemarsh Colonials with points to spare, taking the game 39-25. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 48-45 back in January.

Plymouth Whitemarsh lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Eliza Meersman, who posted six points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Olivia Patete, who scored three points and seven rebounds.

Council Rock South's win bumped their record up to 21-5. As for Plymouth Whitemarsh, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 15-11.

Looking ahead, Council Rock South will host Spring-Ford at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Plymouth Whitemarsh does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
