Basketball Recap: Las Plumas' Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Las Plumas extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Ava Hepworth. The Las Plumas Thunderbirds secured a 39-33 W over the Enterprise Hornets on Tuesday thanks in part to Hepworth, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 22 rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last ten games she's played dating back to last season.

Several Hornets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Catherine Ahart, who posted nine points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Carly Graham, who put up nine points and four steals.

The win got Las Plumas back to even at 6-6. As for Enterprise, their loss dropped their record down to 7-9.

Las Plumas wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 39-34 victory against Quincy on the 9th. As for Enterprise, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 45-40 win against Red Bluff on the 10th.
