Basketball Recap: Riverside Christian Academy Piles Up the Points Against Fayetteville O

Riverside Christian Academy saw some tournament action on Friday. They blew past the Fayetteville O Outliers 78-42. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Royals.

Moises Gonzalez had a dynamite game, going 6-for-7 from beyond the arc on his way to 29 points. Braydon Temple was another key player, shooting 73% from the field en route to 16 points and six steals.

Several Outliers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Anthony Harris, who posted 13 points. Another player making a difference was Gage McGirt, who put up 11 points.

Riverside Christian Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Fayetteville O, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Riverside Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 60-57 defeat against Combine Academy Varsity on the 8th. As for Fayetteville O, they will square off against Cornerstone Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
