Episcopal Academy is a perfect 10-0 against Agnes Irwin since January of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Episcopal Academy Churchmen will welcome the Agnes Irwin Owls at 4:00 p.m. Episcopal Academy will be strutting in after a victory while Agnes Irwin will be coming in after a defeat.

Episcopal Academy took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Springside Chestnut Hill Academy as Episcopal Academy made off with a 40-20 win. The Churchmen haven't had any issues with the Blue Devils recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Episcopal Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kate Boerner, who posted ten points and four steals. Caitlin Mccarthy was another key player, putting up seven points and four steals.

Meanwhile, Agnes Irwin fought the good fight in their overtime game against Germantown Academy on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They lost to the Patriots at home by a 56-42 margin. While losing is never fun, the Owls can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 216th, while the Patriots are ranked 29th).

Agnes Irwin has also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-13 record this season. As for Episcopal Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 9-11-1.

Episcopal Academy strolled past Agnes Irwin in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 46-32. Will Episcopal Academy repeat their success, or does Agnes Irwin have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
