Eaton had won four straight on the road, but on Thursday they bumped up to 11-2 to make it five. Everything went their way against the Forge Christian Fury as they made off with a 13-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Reds, who have now won ten matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Bria Foster made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI.

In other batting news, Emma Anderson was a standout: she fired off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-5. She continues to improve, besting her previous run total in each of the last three games she's played. Isabella Ramsey was another key player, firing off two home runs and four RBI while going 3-for-3.

Eaton lost a few balls and finished the game with five home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in October of 2024.

As for Forge Christian, the loss snapped their winning streak at nine games and leaves them with a 11-2 record. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for they, who until this contest were averaging three runs allowed.

On Forge Christian's side, Rio Beck was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Coming up, Eaton will face off against Holy Family at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Forge Christian, they will take on Southeast Colorado at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Fury will need to watch out since the Angels have now posted at least ten runs in their last four games.
