Basketball Recap: Charlotte Crosley's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Campbell Hall over St. Margaret's

Campbell Hall has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 57-51 heartbreaker at the hands of the St. Margaret's Tartans.

Campbell Hall lost on Friday despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Charlotte Crosley, who went 7 of 13 on her way to 18 points along with five assists and five boards. Crosley's evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Romy D'Addario, who went 5 of 7 on her way to 13 points and eight rebounds.

Even though they lost, Campbell Hall smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in six consecutive matches.

Campbell Hall's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for St. Margaret's, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-3.

Campbell Hall didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 61-54 victory against Xavier Prep on the 28th. As for St. Margaret's, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 57-35 win against Imperial on the 28th.
