Softball Recap: Washington-Wilkes Tigers vs. Franklin County Lions

Washington-Wilkes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Franklin County Lions. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Lions from their previous meeting back in September of 2016.

Washington-Wilkes saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kennedy Danner, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. Another was Rylie Welborn, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases.
