Sedgwick is a perfect 3-0 against Sacred Heart since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Cardinals are taking a road trip to take on the Knights at 7:00 p.m. Sedgwick has given up an average of 33.5 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Sedgwick is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 46 points two weeks ago, they were much more limited against Marion on Friday. They were dealt a 42-8 loss at the hands of the Warriors. Cardinals fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Warriors since Friday.

Meanwhile, Sacred Heart beat Valley Heights 26-16 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

Sacred Heart's win came from a few key players Sedgwick will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Maddox Wells, who threw for 271 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.8 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 33 yards. Those 271 passing yards gave him a new career-high. Dom Matteucci was another key player, gaining 142 total yards and two touchdowns.

Sedgwick's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Sacred Heart, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Everything came up roses for Sedgwick against Sacred Heart in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 39-7 win. In that matchup, the Cardinals amassed a halftime lead of 27-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
