Soccer Game Preview: North Cobb vs. Allatoona

North Cobb is 0-6 against Allatoona since February of 2015 but things could change on Tuesday. The Warriors will face off against the Buccaneers at 6:00 p.m. North Cobb has given up an average of 2.5 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

North Cobb is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game last Friday. They lost 6-1 to Marietta. While losing is never fun, North Cobb can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 137th, while Marietta are ranked 24th).

Meanwhile, while the 4-4 score might suggest a draw, it was East Paulding who was credited with the win last Thursday. The Raiders got it done in the shootout by posting six goals to Allatoona's five.

The Buccaneers hit East Paulding with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Wilson Perry (2), Cole Gallegos, and Oliver Care.

Allatoona dropped their record down to 11-4 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for North Cobb, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

North Cobb came up short against Allatoona in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, falling 2-0. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
