Football Game Preview: Piper Pirates vs. Ottawa Cyclones + Official Tickets

The Piper Pirates will face off against the Ottawa Cyclones at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Piper will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Piper is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They breezed past Schlagle to the tune of 59-6. Considering the Pirates have won four games by more than 30 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, while Ottawa put up some points on Friday, the same can't be said for Lansing. The Cyclones enjoyed a cozy 14-0 victory over the Lions. 14 seems to be a good number for the Cyclones as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

Ottawa's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Piper, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Piper suffered a grim 31-7 defeat to Ottawa in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. Can the Pirates avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
