Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask San Francisco Christian). They came out on top against the St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats by a score of 63-51 on Monday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Trojans' disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1236th, while the Wildcats are ranked 54th).

San Francisco Christian moved to 2-5 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for St. Ignatius College Preparatory, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.

San Francisco Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 32-21 loss against Pacific Bay Christian on the 21st. St. Ignatius College Preparatory has also already played their next matchup, a 52-49 defeat against Oakland Tech on the 20th.
