Softball Recap: Stratford Academy Takes a Loss

Stratford Academy lost against First Presbyterian Day back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles came up short against the Vikings, falling 10-3. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hayden Craddock made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Stratford Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for First Presbyterian Day, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Stratford Academy will square off against Terrell Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for First Presbyterian Day, they will challenge Georgia Military College at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Vikings' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bulldogs have averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season.
