Basketball Game Preview: Itawamba Agricultural Indians vs. Alcorn Central Bears

The Itawamba Agricultural Indians and the Alcorn Central Bears will face off at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Itawamba Agricultural saw some tournament action on Monday. They fell 66-56 to Holly Springs. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Alcorn Central had just enough and edged out Tupelo Christian Prep 59-56 on Monday.

Alcorn Central now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Itawamba Agricultural, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Itawamba Agricultural came up short against Alcorn Central in their previous matchup back in December of 2015, falling 42-34. Can the Indians avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
