Softball Recap: Mountain Vista Golden Eagles vs. Castle View Sabercats
Mountain Vista's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Castle View Sabercats an 11-0 shutout. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Golden Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.
Shelby Chesser made a splash while hitting and pitching. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Chesser was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
