Volleyball Recap: Manzano Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Manzano had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Del Norte Knights with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Monarchs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Manzano never let Del Norte on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-22, 25-12.

Ava Renner had a dynamite game, getting 24 digs. Paige Young also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Manzano's record is now 7-4. As for Del Norte, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Manzano has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Eldorado on the 7th. As for Del Norte, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Rio Grande on the 1st.
