Baseball Recap: Dutchtown Comes Up Short

After soaring to 14 runs the game before, Dutchtown was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They lost 8-2 to the McIntosh Chiefs. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Chiefs: they've now lost six in a row.

Logan Leonard made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March of 2024.

Dutchtown's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for McIntosh, their record now sits at 8-12.

While Dutchtown had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
