Softball Recap: Alamosa Takes a Loss

Alamosa was the 7-3 winner over La Junta when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Mean Moose lost 9-3 to the Tigers on Tuesday. The Mean Moose have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Araceli Molina made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Alamosa's loss dropped their record down to 14-9. As for La Junta, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-11.

Alamosa does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for La Junta, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Southeast Colorado at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
