Torrence Harter leads Sutter to victory over Nevada Union

The Sutter Huskies had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Nevada Union by a score of 43-33 on Wednesday.
It was another big night for Torrence Harter, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. Harter is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Sydney Meagher, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
The win got Sutter back to even at 6-6. As for Nevada Union, they bumped their record down to 4-7 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sutter won't have much time to rest: their next game is against El Dorado at 7:00 p.m. on December 28th. That game will pit two of the most dominant forwards against one another: Alana Schneider and Harter. Nevada Union will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lincoln at 7:30 p.m. on January 10, 2024.
