Baseball Recap: Windsor Locks Takes a Loss

Windsor Locks extended their losing streak to three on Wednesday, dropping them down to 4-14. They fell 5-0 to the Coventry Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 back in April.

As for Coventry, the win (which was their 18th in a row) raised their record to 19-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games.

For Coventry's part, Dominic DeAngelis was excellent, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs. Kevin Johnson was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and two runs.

As of now, neither Windsor Locks nor Coventry have any future games scheduled.
