Meanwhile, Granite Hills narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past El Capitan 2-1. The win continues a trend for Granite Hills in their matchups with El Capitan: they've now won five in a row.

Valhalla's loss dropped their record down to 7-6-5. As for Granite Hills, their victory bumped their record up to 5-11-3.
