Baseball Game Preview: Dunwoody Wildcats vs. Arabia Mountain Rams

The Dunwoody Wildcats are taking a road trip to take on the Arabia Mountain Rams at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Dunwoody will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Dunwoody made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Arabia Mountain, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Wildcats never let the Rams get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Monday. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 contests by six runs or more this season.

Dunwoody got a great performance from Grayson Zinkand as he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. Zinkand has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, John Kosobud was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Zach Paulling, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.

Dunwoody always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .538. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Dunwoody's record is now 25-2. As for Arabia Mountain, their victory ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-17.
