Basketball Recap: Silver Oak Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Silver Oak kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of Leadership by a score of 32-30. The defeat continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with Leadership: they've now lost three in a row.

Leadership's victory bumped their record up to 8-5.

Silver Oak does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Leadership, they will square off against KIPP King at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. KIPP King will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Leadership surely won't give up without a fight.
