Softball Recap: Seymour Snags Eighth Win in Last Nine Games

Seymour won the last time they faced Lamoni and things went their way on Thursday too. The Warriors were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Demons. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by seven runs or more this season.

Seymour is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Lamoni, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-14.

Seymour wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Murray on the 3rd. As for Lamoni, they will face off against Sidney on Monday. The Demons are facing the Cowboys at the right time seeing as the Cowboys are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
