Softball Recap: Lexington Takes a Loss

If Lexington was riding high fresh off their 16-0 takedown of Norborne on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Minutemen took a 12-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lathrop Mules on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Minutemen in their meetings with the Mules: they've now lost six in a row.

Lexington's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Lathrop, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Lexington will head out to square off against Holden at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lathrop, they will square off against West Platte at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
