Softball Recap: Rutland Hurricanes vs. Howard Huskies
Rutland won the last time they faced Howard and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Hurricanes put the hurt on the Huskies with a sharp 17-4 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hurricanes.
Harley Adkison made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Adkison was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season.

In other batting news, Gracie Newberry was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with six RBI, three runs, and one stolen base. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Adrianna Kadian, who went 2-for-4 with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
