Considering Pioneer's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Cerritos was forced to settle for a draw. They and Chadwick finished up their contest with a 1-1 draw on Friday.

Cerritos' draw gives them a new season record of 5-9-1. As for Pioneer, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 6-9-2.
