Baseball Game Preview: Chamblee Bulldogs vs. Arabia Mountain Rams

For the second straight game, Chamblee will face off against Arabia Mountain. Chamblee will be playing at home against Arabia Mountain at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Chamblee is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.1 runs per game this season.

On Monday, Chamblee was able to grind out a solid victory over Arabia Mountain, taking the game 4-1. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Rams: they've now won eight in a row.

James Morton tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over six innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Chamblee is 3-1 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 5-10 otherwise.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Houston Buck, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Chamblee pushed their record up to 8-11 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Arabia Mountain, their loss dropped their record down to 3-11.
